Due to COVID-19, all non essential businesses around the country are currently being shut down. Due to such a high demand in cleaning supplies, grocery items, feed for livestock, pet food and so on, Atwoods is one of the many chains being hit hard with sales at this time.

While it is wonderful that Atwoods has issued an official letter to associates stating if an employee is to come down with coronavirus (or comes in contact with someone who has) they will be given excused time off... The fact still remains that employees who have not, have no choice but to remain working at this time on the frontlines of exposure. I believe Atwoods can do better.

Atwoods employees are taking on a much larger workload in a both stressful and compromised environment due to being around the general public and possibly risking exposure to the virus. These risks more than warrant an increased hazard pay. I am urging Atwoods CEO Brian Atwood to meet these needs.
