Members squarely defeated the 75% that the union bosses needed to push their false charges through and waste precious time and resources. I thank the Good Lord for members who stood up to the union bosses and their loyalists. You all proved that the union belongs to the members and not the officials! My fellow maintenance workers showed up in huge numbers I have never seen at the membership meeting! Thank you for signing the petition. Thank you for donating to the marketing on the petition too! Every little bit y'all did to help made a difference in getting members here tonight. Now I will focus on organizing the Shops and improving myself. I will keep making mistakes. But I am always seeking to do better. My number one concern in the wellbeing of the CTA workers, our working conditions, our democratic control of the union and punishment of our tormentors at 567 W. Lake Street. Yeah, the union bosses were mad and moping tonight. But the CTA mismanagement is really mad. But that is okay. They are showing us how evil they are and how righteous we must be in this global struggle against profits-over-people. Peace be with you all!
