What More Can We Do?

Hi Everyone, I am here just wanting to say thanks for your support!
And in the next few weeks Anthony (my cousin that killed my grandma) is up for parole and even though we as a family have to deal with the upcoming parole and all the upsetting details that go with it!
I think the most upsetting thing is we as a family have no rights, and the person who committed this horrible crime is protected by the law and is allowed to be given the opportunity to have a new start!
What about us, yes there are things put in place to stop him for coming within the boundaries of our areas, but how do they know if he has breached his parole by entering our areas? I asked this exact question but was told that if he was in our area that It was up to us as family to get a picture of him and report it to the parole board! I asked if Anthony would have a ankle monitor so they the parole board would know if he had breached his parole, and the answer is that is something they might do but they might not too! But I believe he should have to have a monitor on his ankle so they know where he is at all times!
Why do we have to worry about where he might turn up! It’s not us that did the crime yet we are still the one that have to deal, the parole board has the power to allow this monster back in to the community!
Looks like south of the river is going to be out of bounds, but this doesn’t make me feel comfortable that he will not come back to the place that he committed the crime, And it’s up to us as a family to keep him honest!
When do we as a family get to take a deep breath and feel comfortable and be able to live our life without being scared of this monster!
I don’t know what else we as a family can do as we have done everything we can do to keep him locked up! Unfortunately he is going to be paroled and we are just going to have to deal with this!
Why does he (Anthony) get to have such a hold over us! He is one person and he is the one that committed the crime and it was stamped that he was not to be released! But here we are again with all the feelings that come along with such a horrible experience!
I just had to voice my opinion and my feelings about this situation!
Thanks so very much for your support and kindness Helene
