Apologies for delayed post as I have been on the issue all day every day. Thankyou again for your support. Main message – do not donate to the RSPCA! I have escalated their lack of action and dodgy deals with the Council to Biosecurity QLD who are having an Inspector visit Bandit. Ill explain below. Status: I visit the Bandit from the Street to shout out support twice each day. Bandit has now been impounded for 6 weeks (45 days) with just 10 minutes exercise in 6 weeks on one visit. The SRRC had Bandit transferred back to the torture centre Tuesday last week. The SRRC have banned visitations and continue to provide no information on timeframes. I have requested that the Ombudsman intervene but that request has been met with “talk to the CEO” who refuses to meet with us. We don’t know how Bandit is going as they have blocked all visitations. They also refuse to provide a picture. The concerning issue is that yesterday they had welding being done in the small non-ventilated facility while at least Bandit and 2 other dogs are in there. RSPCA: The RSPCA have probably proved to be the most useless with Mark Townend, QLD RSPCA CEO agreeing to send Bandit back to the facility that RSPCA deemed unfit! Ours and Bandits worst nightmare. A dirty deal with the RSPCA and Council. I have escalated to the Chairman – RSPCA Australia as I also received abusive emails from Mark Townend CEO QLD on his RSPCA email address as per below: “You obviously use a modus operandi of threats, bullying and harassment which will not intimidate myself of the RSPCA” This came after I requested a meeting and begged him not to transfer him back to Beaudesert. I cant quite believe a CEO would write such assumptions without meeting, discussing or even asking me what had happened to BANDIT. Its obvious he also didn’t ask Inspector Renee Law, RSPCA who had him moved. Ms Laws first comments to me after inspecting the Beaudesert torture centre were “are you ready to go to Court “ and “ I have escalated to the Chief Inspector” So my view is he should be sacked! The RSPCA will now not talk about the issue with me. In relation to your welfare concerns, the matter has been forwarded to the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. Kindly forward any further concerns to that department. They can be contacted by: Phone: 13 25 23  Email: callweb@daf.qld.gov.au   Thank you. The Local Minister Mark Furner finally wrote to the Mayor last Wednesday (eventhough they said the Friday before). We don’t have any confidence in them as its now 6 weeks and we expect more lies back from the Mayor Greg Christensen, Scenic Rim Regional Council. As per prior I have legal action on foot in the QLD District Court and got that brought forward to early November. I have applied to join Mark Towend, RSPCA to that matter as it wasn’t a threat but a need. Its not a great status. I contacted the Barristers Animal Welfare Panel with no response. Very poor.
