The Atlanta Braves represent a cornerstone of Atlanta, bringing family and friends together for many years while celebrating victory or defeat. Since I was young, I have attended the games with my father and now take my own son. We experience everything you should from watching the game, singing 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame' to 'the wave,' to the Tomahawk chop to enjoying a hot dog. This new Mascot is not only a misrepresentation of the Atlanta Braves but a mockery of those of us paying for tickets and memorabilia. The name BLOOPER is defined as an embarrassing error. The character himself looks like a knock off of the Phillie Phanatic, but much less appealing. I am proposing and urging we change the mascot AND name to represent THE BRAVES.
