We are loyal AT&T customers and others in the community who are considering taking our business elsewhere because of AT&T's unwitting support for Patriot Mobile Action, which supports candidates in local races in the DFW area that we find objectionable.

We don't want our cellular telephone payments to support candidates who wish to institute policies every sane voter should oppose. But before finding another carrier we would like to call our objections to AT&T's attention and give it a chance to disengage from a company they may not know is engaging in these campaigns.

AT&T is currently renting lines to Patriot Mobile, who is then funding extremist right candidates running for school boards.  According to the wfaa article they are funding each candidate with 38k each, in 4 different school districts, which allowed them to buy their elections.  The FEC report shows Patriot Mobile Action donated 180k total to 4 Mansfield isd candidates and north of 500k overall.  These candidates are pushing a divisive and inflammatory agenda like CRT hysteria, accusations of indoctrination of students, they push book banning, they make accusations of porn being in the school libraries when they really seek to ban books about race and lgbtq, and accusing their opposition of being groomers and pedophiles to stoke anger and get votes.

This doesn’t seem like anything a well thought of corporate entity like AT&T would want to be a part of.  

Everyone who signs this petitions feels AT&T should stop doing business with Patriot Mobile, and we need to hear a response from AT&T.  Everyone spends a large sum of money per year for cell service, and we expect the companies we do business with to be responsible.
