QPR FC, yesterday announced on the club website, that the running total for donations, to fund the 5 phase, planned tribute to Stan Bowles and other Legends, had reached almost £2,500, over one week ago.

Phase One - £6,804, to place The Stanley Bowles Stand lettering, on the front fascia, of the current, Ellerslie Road Stand.

Phases Two and Three - £3,362, to pay for an iconic image of Stan Bowles and lettering, on the wall inside the current, Ellerslie Road Stand.

Phase Four - £432, to pay for signage above the entrance, to the current, Ellerslie Road Stand.

Phase Five - £11,492, to pay for 'Legends of the Loft' imagery, to be displayed, inside the Loftus Road Stand.

To support Phase One, a Facebook Page, 'The Stanley Bowles Stand', has been set up by fans, which includes details of various, fundraising initiatives, including auctions of signed QPR memorabilia.

Understandably, there have recently been other, worthy demands on supporters' charitable intentions, with the campaign to pay for treatment for the young, cancer stricken, Dottie Rees, and the devastating war in Ukraine.

However, more help is needed, both to promote - to increase the message reach - and to pay, for the fans' initiative, to properly honour, our greatest ever player and most beloved personality. 

Therefore, could we suggest, that supporters of this petition, lead the way, by donating a minimal amount, eg. £1, to ensure completion, of at least, the phase one target of £6,804, in time for the proposed, installation work deadline of May this year.
