QPR FC club website, yesterday, made this announcement:

'FOLLOWING our recent announcement that the Ellerslie Road Stand will be renamed The Stanley Bowles Stand, the club can now confirm the next steps in the process.

This fan initiative will be fan-funded and split into five phases.

This will include introducing a ‘Legends of the Loft’ section in the Loftus Road Stand which will celebrate the most iconic players in our history. A voting process for this will be announced in due course.

Each phase of the development is detailed below and includes the funding required. 

Phase One - £6,804

‘The Stanley Bowles Stand’ letters to be placed on front fascia of the current Ellerslie Road Stand. 

Phases Two & Three - £3,362

Iconic image of Bowles and lettering displayed on wall inside the current Ellerslie Road Stand.

Phase Four - £432

Signage above entrance outside current Ellerslie Road Stand.

Phase Five - £11,492

‘Legends of the Loft’ imagery to be displayed inside the Loftus Road Stand. 

When funding for Phase One has been reached, funding will commence for Phase Two, and continue until Phase Five. Each phase will be implemented as soon as funding has been achieved.

The progress of the funding will be displayed on club channels.
