Im hoping with lots of love and support this open letter will reach P!NK

Hi my name is Cindy and what I’m hoping for is for P!NK do add a special smaller venue acoustic show for children with special needs and sensory issues to her next tour. This would be just like any other show you would have to purchase a ticket but the attendees would be only for those in the special needs community and their carers. 

Now to the reason behind my idea. My daughter Isabelle. 

Isabelle is currently 6 and was born perfectly healthy but due to a undiagnosed birth infection, meningitis traveled to her brain and at 3 weeks old she was admitted to the NICU at Westmead Children’s Hospital having seizures and after a MRI was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She gets around in a wheelchair and her full diagnosis is quadriplegia mixed spasticity and dystonic cerebral palsy, meaning all her limbs are affected. At 6 months old she was diagnosed with a vision impairment called CVI (cortical vision impairment) due to the damage to her brain from the meningitis and seizures she is legally blind. She is non-verbal but understands everything. Her hearing is perfect and music is her happy place. P!NK is one of her favourite singers, I think this is because I played her music to her while she was in my belly and again when she was in the NICU fighting for her life.

I would’ve loved to been able to take her to the Sydney show but the size of the venue, being outdoors and the amount of people would have been way too overwhelming for her. That’s why I thought if you knew our situation, you may find it in your hearts to help me reach P!NK to do a smaller show just for beautiful children and adults like my daughter. I know there are more families out there who are just like us and who would love to participate. My daughter is just like everyone else on the inside. It's just her body that works differently and I hate that she can’t get to experience her favourite singer live because of her sensitivity and sensory issues. She misses out on so much already so please if you do read this and you know someone who would benefit from this or you just care I hope you sign and help us reach P!NK and/or her team.
