Hi everyone, I'm a Wizard of Oz fan, both the books and the series, and we all know what happened on that set during production. Here are some examples:
1) In the poppy field scene, they used pure, highly carcinogenic asbestos on the actors.
2) The witch (Margaret Hamilton)
had copper plastered over her face and body, couldn't even drink, and suffered second- and third-degree burns.
3) The first actor who was supposed to play the Tin Man, Esben, had his lungs turned to iron, and they had to replace him.
4) Judy Garland was given:
Smoking
only chicken and broth
drugs, which was vilified by director Victor Fleming.
We therefore ask the United States Congress, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, the Honorable Mike Johnson, the Minority Leader of the House, the Honorable Heeken Jefries, the Republican Leader of the Senate, the Honorable John Thune, the Minority Leader of the Senate, the Honorable Chuck Shumer, and above all President Donald Trump to open an investigation and to put aside the political divisions between the two parties to investigate what happened on that set and to create a fund to compensate the families of the actors who participated in the film.
