Just letting everyone know we’re delivering our petition to the MTA tomorrow (Thursday) May 16th. This marks the official end of the MTA’s outreach phase for their Proposed Final Plan for the Queens Bus Network Redesign.
What’s next
With the outreach complete, the MTA will begin drafting their Final Plan for the Queens Bus Network Redesign. They will consider rider feedback, including our petition, along with letters of support from elected officials and community leaders. Letters of support have been sent by NY State Senator Kristen Gonzales, NYC Council Member Julie Won, U.S. Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez & Laura Rothrock, President, Long Island City Partnership.
We don’t know exactly when the Final Plan will be released, but will keep you posted.
