Jak and Daxter is one of the most iconic franchises in PlayStation history.

The original trilogy — Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Jak II, and Jak 3 — defined a generation of players with its unique world, memorable characters, and innovative gameplay. Even today, these games are remembered with great affection by fans all over the world.

In recent years, we have seen how high-quality remakes can successfully bring classic games back to life, allowing both longtime fans and new players to experience them again — while respecting the original vision.
However, Jak and Daxter has never received a true modern remake.

With this petition, we respectfully ask Naughty Dog, in collaboration with Sony Interactive Entertainment, to consider creating:

A full remake of the original Jak and Daxter trilogy

fully rebuilt modern graphics
updated controls and gameplay improvements
faithful respect for the original games
release on modern platforms (such as PS5)
We are not asking for a new sequel, nor for changes to the story or characters.
We are simply asking for the opportunity to experience these three classic games again, rebuilt to modern standards, while preserving what made them special.

A remake of the Jak and Daxter trilogy would:

celebrate an important part of PlayStation history
introduce the franchise to a new generation of players
honor a series that still has a strong and passionate fanbase
