And I do expect someone at Meijer to respond, as ample time has been provided and I want to believe that courtesy and respect are still valued in the company. Fred Meijer, co-founder of Meijer, often asked people when meeting them, “How can Meijer be better?”, and he would sit down and listen to their suggestions. Granted, there weren't as many stores or customers back then, but his openness and willingness to listen to what customers WANTED and NEEDED was a KEY FACTOR in making Meijer a competitive, PIONEERING, progressive, innovative, and SUCCESSFUL company.
