When the FedEx employee saw what I was mailing and who it was addressed to, he said, "This is a great idea!" :)
So now we wait...until June 6th. That is the date by which Mr. Keyes was asked to reply. And I do expect someone at Meijer to respond, as ample time has been provided and I want to believe that courtesy and respect are still valued in the company.
Fred Meijer, co-founder of Meijer, often asked people when meeting them, “How can Meijer be better?”, and he would sit down and listen to their suggestions. Granted, there weren't as many stores or customers back then, but his openness and willingness to listen to what customers WANTED and NEEDED was a KEY FACTOR in making Meijer a competitive, PIONEERING, progressive, innovative, and SUCCESSFUL company.

I hope Meijer will EMBRACE this opportunity and LISTEN and respond to customer demands by creating healthy checkout aisles that improve customer health and provide a supportive shopping experience for families and children!
