What happened to Salman Rushdie is happening to Iranian and Afghan people everyday if what they say or believe is against the islamic rules or the government propaganda. No one can publish a book critisizing Islam or Islamic leaders in Iran. You can not even adopt artistic views of the mainstream Islamic beliefs defined by the mullahs (As what Salman Rushdie did). 

New technologies and approaches such as Amazon Kindle direst publishing KDP should help break this censorship by supporting languages that need them the most.

So we ask Amazon again to add the Persian language to their KDP services and help Iranians and Afghans around the world fight the extremists. We need to increase the knowledge and improve the freedom of speech by letting people read uncensored books.
