Meet Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theorist Bernadita M. Yunis, a Jew Hater and CU Boulder Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Dept. of Communications. Ms. Yunis (aka Bernadita Maria Yunis Varas) uses her Insta/FB accounts (recently made private perhaps to feedback from the community) to repeat a number of Libels against Jewish People and argue that the "Zionist narrative is white supremacist bullshit."

Here is her most recent stuff: "on the issue of Israel as a refuge of sexual predators there is no argument. On the issue of harvesting Palestinian organs and skin, there is no argument. On the issue of putting children before military courts, there is no argument. On the issue of the state sterilizing non-white residents, there is no argument. On the issue of the abuse, torture, and sexual assault of their detainees, there is no argument. On the issue of Israel using The Occupied Palestinian Territories as a laboratory for surveillance and weapons technology, there is no argument..."

There's a lot there, but let's focus on the obvious Libels for now, which should never be acceptable discourse by anyone let alone a CU Teacher.

(1) Israel as a "refuge of sexual predators" and Israel as "commiting sexual assault of their detainees" - this is often called the "Lust Libel." According to the JC, the Lust Libel goes back to the "Middle Ages...European art and literature have depicted the Jews as perverse, predatory vampires of the Orient....Among the notorious antisemitic tirades launched by US rapper Kanye West was one in which he blamed Jews for salacious news about his ex-wife’s sex life. 'It’s Jewish Zionists that’s about that life,' he said in a viral video."

(2) The Palestinian Organ and Skin Harvesting Libel. This is a newer libel, recently popularized by model, Gigi Hadad. According to the ADL, this libel originated in 2010, when “Several anti-Israel Web sites and Middle East news sources have reported…that the Israeli medical mission in Haiti may be involved in stealing organs from earthquake victims. According to ADL, the charges of organ harvesting for profit have appeared on various Web sites, including that of Press TV, a state-funded Iranian TV news channel; the Izzedine al-Qassam Brigades, an armed wing of the terrorist group Hamas; and the site of Alex Jones, an American anti-Israel conspiracy theorist.”

(3) The Blood Libel. Ms. Yunis recently re-posted that "Israel has been killing babies and gender violencing little girls for the past 75 years.” This should never be acceptable for any Teacher, Student, or Professor to say. According to Holocaust Encyclopedia, “the term blood libel refers to the false allegation that Jews used the blood of non-Jewish, usually Christian children, for ritual purposes. The Nazis made effective use of the blood libel to demonize Jews, with Julius Steicher's newspaper Der Stürmer making frequent use of ritual murder imagery in its antisemitic propaganda.
