Petition updateAsk candidates running for office in CT to support the National Popular Vote

Momentum for National Popular Vote in CT is growing!

National Popular Vote CT
Jan 27, 2018
Ahead of the start of the CT General Assembly 2018 session, we're seeing very positive signs of growing support. The two Democratic chairs of the Judiciary Committee, Rep. William Tong and Sen. Paul Doyle, both announced their support for passing a bill this session to join the NPV Compact. The petition you signed asking candidates to pledge to support the NPV if elected has more than 750 signatures on change.org, plus nearly 500 collected at events (we got a ton at the Women's March in Hartford), for a total of nearly 1,250. We have begun asking candidates to sign the pledge; we're getting great responses from new challenger candidates for the state legislature and from seasoned elected officials running for statewide office. PLEASE HELP US BUILD ON THE MOMENTUM! Share the petition to your friends via social media, email and word of mouth. Thank you! National Popular Vote CT
