Arkansas Water Protectors

A few days ago, two Arkansas Water Protectors took direct action against the pipeline by attaching themselves to one of the machines. They were able to hold off the construction of the pipeline for almost 2 to 3 hours, and were then arrested and charged with trespassing. Thank you to these two brave water protectors for going against the odds, risking their lives, to take a stand against this pipeline! Not everyone will stand up to the pipeline in the same manner; we are not all able to take a direct action such as this one. However, there are other measures we can take to take a stand against the Plains All American Diamond Pipeline here in Arkansas. Call our Arkansas Congress, email them your concerns, get involved in rallies and marches, tweet at our leaders, voice your concerns! We do not have to stand by and watch this happen. We can make a difference in this fight!
