Inspite of support from 27,000 signatories, the various governments have failed to take concrete steps to #ReviveYamuna by implementing the Maili Se Nirmal Yamuna Rejuvenation Plan, 2017.

Due to this inaction the condition of Yamuna has gone from bad to worse. On 12th January the ammonia level in Yamuna had again gone into hazardous levels disrupting the water supply. Inter state squabbles have resulted in a situation that no State is ready to take responsibility for revival of Yamuna.

Thus we had no option but to approach the NGT for appointment of a CAQM kind of all powerful commission for revival of Yamuna.

we hope that the judiciary will as always protect the people on environmental issues and help resolve this perennial problem.
