To date over 3 million digital artworks from thousands of artist portfolios around the world have been scraped by bots in an effort to train AI generative neural networks, without permission from the artists.

Not saying AI in the gaming and film space isn't inevitable, but Generative AI seems to only be exploiting the artists whose work has been used to train these Generative AI models without consent, credit or compensation to the artist.

The tech has zero regard for copyright, unless it's programmed to do so, and these companies have made little to no effort to ensure the Generative AI models are training off of non-copyrighted material, especially when it comes to the work of artists.

To date, there is no generative AI art software that doesn't exploit artists through their training data, at least none that people would find interesting or offer useful results.

Together we can stand up to not only the companies responsible for exploiting the work of artists, but also push the entertainment industry to create and follow responsible practices that ensure the tools they use aren't at the expense and exploitation of artists.

Help us build awareness and support for the work the Concept Art Association is doing in Washington, D.C and petition AI Generative technology companies to start establishing responsible practices for the industry to follow. Together we can help ensure artists are recognized and compensated for their contribution IF they so choose to make one.

To show your support, please sign this petition to show your support for the efforts of the Concept Art Association. Please help us spread the word and get as many signatures as possible. We want to show big tech we have the support to demand change!

If you would like to donate, please consider donating to the Concept Art Association's GoFundMe to help continue the lobbying efforts on behalf of artists. Thank you! #standwithartists
