The South is getting hit hard with AI centers.  According to the non profit city of hope, a top cancer center, stated that there is a higher chance of cancer in the Southeast versus the North. Due to racist ideas, the data centers are being put in poor black communities just because  the availability of large, cheap land, lower regulatory barriers, and less organized political resistance. This pattern mirrors historical environmental racism, where industrial burdens are disproportionately placed on marginalized neighborhoods.  We, as Southern residents, believe that this is a important issue that cannot be put to the side.

We are not asking to stop the enhancement of technology,  but there's a problem when others have to be harmed in order for sucess.
