We, the undersigned, request that Arriva and Transport for Greater Manchester continue the 535 and 537 routes for Astley Bridge and Belmont, planned to be scrapped on August 30th 2015

A great number of passengers who rely on this service to travel to and from the ASDA superstore, town centre, and Bolton rail links will no longer have adequate access to services. The elderly, disabled and disadvantaged - particularly those in Belmont - will be left isolated from much needed amenities without this service. We ask you put people before profits!

Without these services:

• Children and young people attending schools and colleges elsewhere in town will no longer have access to a regular service
• Elderly and disabled residents will be cut off from the town centre and many may even struggle to access the ASDA superstore located on Blackburn road
• Those with appointments at Bolton General Hospital will face prolonged journey times or expensive taxi charges.
