Arrest Hungarian Prime Minister for aiding the fugitive Netanyahu

Arrest Hungarian Prime Minister for aiding the fugitive Netanyahu
The Issue
As a concerned member of the global community, I am deeply disturbed by the corruption in the Hungarian Prime Minister, which I find is epitomized by the concerning reality that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is allowing a known fugitive Benjamin Netanyahu to enter Hungary instead of complying with the ICJ Ruling demanding his arrest. Instead of complying with the ICJ Ruling, Victor Orban is choosing to withdraw from the ICC despite being a part of the ICC when the international arrest warrants against Netanyahu were issued. Furthermore, Mr. Netanyahu is facing corruption charges in Israel along with criminal charges by the ICC, is openly welcomed to in Hungary by Prime Minister Viktor Mihály Orbán. This not only blatantly dismisses international legal obligations but undermines the credibility of the global justice system.
An intention to withdraw from the ICC cannot be made a pretext not to comply with international warrants issued by the ICJ because firstly, Hungary is still a part of the ICC and secondly, its ruling was issued several months ago when Hungary was a part of the ICC.
This unique situation brings into light a broader crisis – a blatant disregard for legal processes by the Hungarian leader, thus eroding public trust and rendering international courts ineffective. As per Freedom House’s 2020 report, Hungary's status declined from 'Free' to 'Partly Free' due to sustained attacks on the country’s democratic institutions by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz party (Freedom House, 2020).
The negative implications of this seemingly isolated incident are manifold and far-reaching, particularly for independent bodies aiming to instill a sense of justice globally. If unchecked, such cases might inspire other controversial figures to defy and evade legal accountability.
Therefore, this petition calls for Prime Minister Viktor Orbán's arrest for contempt of court and stresses the necessity for Hungarian Leaders to take action against Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and arrest Benjamin Netanyahu with immediate effect. Please support this petition to uphold the principles of global justice and the rule of law.
