I'm told further decisions will be released by the Complaints Commissioner at some in the future, including the one where a RNC officer dislocated my shoulder for no reason.
No idea on the Adjudication timeline yet. They're not really being very forthcoming with that information.
The Human Rights Commission has me on a waitlist for an investigator, no idea when that process will start. The RNC did finally file a reply, I suspect they were waiting on the outcome of the Complaints Commissioner file. I haven't seen it yet; it was only filed on the 17th. The HRC reviews it first before sending it out to me to rebut.
I sometimes find it funny to think about the amount of public funds this process has consumed so far. The appointment of new Complaints Commissioner has generated over $100,000 in billable hours alone.
I suspect the government has wasted a significant amount of money trying to deflect liability for the behavior of their agents.
Their problem here is that I'm quite stubborn and have a near infinite supply of patience. They'll keep throwing money at lawyers and kicking the can down the road, but at the end of this there will be a Reckoning.
It can only be held off for so long.
While I'm waiting, I've tried to dip back into writing. Here's something for you to read about how Canada ended up on the wrong side of history.
