I started this petition over eight years ago.

Seven years ago, I was unlawfully detained for my political views.

Since then, the incident has been the subject of a number of court rulings and investigations.

One of these processes may be finally nearing its end.

It's been over a year since the appointment of a new Public Complaints Commissioner to oversee the process with respect to the RNC and the Justice Department. 

I've been told a decision has been reached and would be released two weeks ago. The release of the decision has been delayed twice now. No reasons given other than 'details to be worked out.'

I'll post it here when I receive it.

The Human Rights complaints filed last year have moved through early attempts to dismiss them and are now in the investigation phase. They make take a while to produce any results.

I've also been booted off Twitter by the state-sponsored N@FO trolls for pointing out inconvenient facts about Ukraine's history over the last 8 years. I'm expecting the site to implode later this month as the court case between them and Musk reveals some of the extent of the state-run troll farms.

In the last few years social media has gone from being generally toxic to absolutely cancerous. Better to be off it entirely until something can be done to fix the issues.
