After the charges were dismissed without any grounds or evidence offered, I followed up by filing a complaint with the RNC Public Complaints Commission against the Chief himself and the officer who oversaw the investigation.

The Commission, which is a civilian oversight body that operates independently of the RNC and the Department of Justice, will have to review the matter completely, but they are aware of a number of discrepancies that point towards potential obstruction of justice charges.

Also, I put my name in to run as an Independent in the local provincial elections. Part of my yet to be disclosed platform is that, if elected, I will be using my public office to gain standing to bring Charter and Human Rights issues before the Courts.
