When I checked the petition today, it had been closed. Not something that I did. I was also in contact with the Canadian Judicial Council regarding my complaint. I filed an additional one today about the delays in getting a ruling regarding my habeas corpus. It has been seven months since that matter was heard and it'll be three years since I was detained in two more months. Still no ruling on the legality of the matter aside from the Court of Appeal saying that the certificate didn't follow the Act properly. The Court offered no remedy for the denied habeas corpus rights other than to order a new hearing, which is still awaiting a ruling. The Canadian Judicial Council tells me it might take another six months for them to have a ruling on the delays and the apprehension of bias issues.
