Dear Arlington County Board,

We are writing to express our strong support for the "shared use" approach to managing the softball and little league fields in Virginia Highlands Park, as proposed in the letter sent by the Aurora Hills Civic Association on July 17, 2021.

We strongly urge you to maintain the diamond fields professionally and to continue scheduling hundreds of games there.

We also urge you to continue allowing open access to the these fields during the hours of each day when no games are scheduled, so that people can use the open space to relax, throw frisbees, sunbathe, or even write petitions.
