Hi everyone, It is with regret, I have been informed that the Arklow Seabreeze Festival will not be cancelling the Pig race for next years event or ever. It appears almost 2,500 signatures is not enough. I won't stop campaigning for this, and I will need your help to do this. Keep sharing this petition over the next year. Share it wherever you feel is appropriate. You can also email the committee at info@arklowseabreezefestival.ie although I'm not entirely confident that will work, as they seem hell bent on continuing this cruel practice. Every year at the Bray Summerfest they hold an amazing Swiss airshow that draws in 80,000 people to the local economy, at the same time, every year, 30 mins down the road in Arklow, we race and frighten 5 little pigs for entertainment. That sums it up! Thank you for your support so far, and I will keep fighting.
