Hello all, and I first let me thank each and every one of you (321 of you so far!) for taking the time to sign, share and add your own comment to this petition. Last night, the chairman of the Arklow Seabreeze committee emailed me and said that as the brochures are already printed for this year, the pig race cannot be cancelled, however he is calling a meeting to discuss the race going forward. This is great news and the first step. Can I ask you all to keep sharing this petition, because there may be a good chance that we will achieve our aim, and the greater the numbers of signatures, the more chance we have. I would like to thank Colm the Chairman for responding to me, and for engaging with us for change. Thank you all ;)
