There is a petition being circulated to encourage Governor Ducey to close Lake Havasu.  This petition is being circulated in an effort to provide a counter voice and to encourage Governor Ducey, State Lawmakers and other decision makers to leave our lake and waterways as is! Open and accessible! 

The lake and access to Arizona waterways provides individuals and families much needed access to normalcy during these uncertain times. We can responsibly enjoy our waterways while providing the recommended safe social distancing. 

More closures and forced stay at home isolation with no reasonable outlet will only continue to compound the stress already being thrust upon families. 

Our spring will quickly be turning to summer and the lake may be the ONLY outlet for many Lake Havasu families to escape the heat and confines of stay at home directives. 

Together we can ALL do our part, flatten the curve and practice safe social distancing while leaving open spaces and waterways open and accessible.
