Hi! I need as many people as possible to do this and either screenshot or print & scan then email to me at: sc@champion-pr.com with the subject line APS Rate Comparison. Please be sure to run the comparison on ALL available plans (many people have been sending only 1 or 2) and please do this ASAP! I also met with the attorney yesterday and will be posting the update about that on our legal fund - https://www.fundedjustice.com/StopTheAPSGreed?ref=sh_5770w1_ab_1DqIZmpnKsm1DqIZmpnKsm
Thank you to Sheldon for providing these step by step instructions.
Here are the step by step instructions on how to run your APS Best Option and your Current Plan to the New Plans Being Offered comparisons (see attached example copies):
1. Go to APS.com and sign into your account. If you are not already setup for online access please do so.
2. Once signed on it should come up already under "my account" at the top of the page on the right-hand side
3. Now put the curser over the "my energy" to the right of "my bill"
4. Now move the curser down to "change service plan" and click on it. This gives you APS' recommendations of a new plan closest to your current plan and the one they suggest you switch to. Print this page off for future reference. DO NOT SELECT ONE OF THESE PLANS ON THIS SCREEN. IF YOU DO AND CLICK ON SUBMIT AT THE BOTTOM, YOU HAVE CHANGED TO THIS PLAN. CLICK ON THE "CANCEL' TO GET OUT.
5. So now put your curser back over the "my energy" and move the curser down and then click on "compare service plans".
5. A screen pops up "service plan compare" and should show your address to the right of "for service at:"
6. Not sure how many of APS' plans will show up to the right of "compare" but mine shows 4:
Premier Choice Large
Saver Choice
Saver Choice Plus
Saver Choice Max
7. You can select two plans at a time to compare to the plan you are currently on. If you have more than two plans to compare run those also. Be sure to print off these comparisons.
8. Now take these comparisons sheets and calculate the percentage increase or decrease under each of the new plans compared to your current plan. If your not sure how to do this ... you take the Total New Plan Difference over the 12 month comparison period and divide it by the Total Current Plan amount and multiply that by 100. So if you are looking at the attached plan comparison for the "saver choice max" (which is the new plan APS says would be my best option) on it this would be the math:
($219.74 / $1,877.63) x 100 = 11.70% increase
9. Note: APS said the plan most closely to my current plan would be "save choice" and as you can see from the attached comparisons this would be a 18.26% increase.
Thank you and may the force be with us!!
