The Trump administration will soon begin selling oil drilling leases in the Arctic Refuge, and oil megacorp Chevron is chomping at the bit to be among the first to get in.

Bowing to public pressure, fossil fuel giants like Shell and BP have signaled they will not purchase leases in the Refuge — but not Chevron, which clings steadfastly to its hopes of plundering the Arctic Refuge for financial gain.

Trump's Interior Department is just days away from signing off on its plan for drilling in the Arctic Refuge — the very last decision required before they can begin auctioning off this pristine, publicly-owned land to companies like Chevron.
