Congratulations! Through your successful efforts the Fairfax City Council voted to submit an application for the additional funding needed to get the George Snyder Trail started. That application has been viewed favorably by VDOT and awaits approval from the Commonwealth Transportation Board.

The next step is to convince the Council to accept the $4.6M. However, several council members have shown reluctance to accept the funds. Here is where we need your help or all our efforts on behalf of the trail may go to waste. We need to convince them to vote yes on the funding issue on the January 13 public hearing.
