The pain and anguish left in the wake of school violence persists for a lifetime, and sadly, some victims no longer have a voice that can be heard. When lives are lost and families and communities are shattered, it is an urgent signal that we must take action.

The "Last Fight, Stop the Violence" program is a beacon of hope in these troubling times. By approving this pilot program, we can initiate meaningful change. This program is designed not only to curtail violent behavior but also to provide beneficial opportunities for students, fostering an environment of peace and growth. It aims to equip young individuals with the tools to resolve conflicts amicably and engage in constructive dialogues, thereby molding them into responsible members of society.

What is evident is that too little is being done too late to mitigate the impacts of violence in schools.
