Subj: Appeal to recognizing and appointing Kopanathi Krishnama family member as founder and Chairman to Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple ,Antarvedi, Konaseem Dist, AP.

Hon'ble Sir,

We are the people from Antarvedi, Pallavapalem, Konaseema district writing this appeal with a deep sense of respect and urgency, seeking your kind intervention in a matter that significantly affects our rights and dignity.

You may kindly be aware on Antarvedi  Narasimha swamy temple. It is a known fact in Andhra Pradesh that the Antarvedi Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple was built by Kopanathi Krishnama during the 18th century. Koppanathi Krishnamma, a revered wealthiest person from that place and belonging to the Agni Kula Kshatriya community,And is remembered for his monumental contributions to the Antarvedi temple. He built the temple with unique Dravidian Style architecture along with his Brother Ranganadulu and also Donated more than 2000 acres of Land and ornaments (Recorded under endowment act 1951 section 25).

The same history is published on the endowment department website, and there is a written evidence of an ancient stone inscription belonging to "Navada Lothpala Malika.". Which tells:

శిలా శాసనము నవదళోత్పల మాలిక శ్రీయుతుడైనా శ్రీ కొప్పనాతి అది నారాయణ అంతర్వేది క్షేత్ర స్వామియైన  శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహ స్వామి వారి ఆలయము, ప్రాకార విమాన మండపాదులు కొన్ని కట్టించి ,భగవదర్పణ బుద్దితో , తానారంభించిన నిర్మాణ కార్యమును సాంగముగావింపవలసినదిగా ,కుమారులకు జెప్పినతనే ,తోడైన రంగనాధునితో గుడి,ధీమంతుడైన కృష్ణమ్మ దివ్యమై ,భవ్యమైన మహామహిమ యొప్పనట్లుగా శాలి వాహన శక సంవత్సరములు [1745] క్రీ .శ   1823, జరిగిన పిదప, స్వభాను నామ సంవత్సరాధిక చైత్ర కృష్ణ దశమి భాను వానరము నాటికీ పూర్తి చేయించి నిష్కళంకమైన భక్తి గల్గిన సజ్జనులు ఔనని మెచ్చుకొనునట్లుగా, ధన్యమైన చితము గలవాడై సమర్పించెను.

But later due to heavy crowd gathering and high income from temple , East india company or British government  handover it to Zamindars (Also call Taluqdars/ Rajas/Jagirdars/Mirasidars who are Indian agents,Who acted behalf of East india company. Their responsibility is to paying taxes to govt collecting from public and temples). Then political involvement started in temple, gradually government started ignoring temple founder members and their community people. After independence central government abolished Zamindari system. In accordance with, Andhra Pradesh brought The Act of 1987. Which abolished hereditary rights for Mirasidars, Archakas, and other office holders and servants.

But some influenced persons from West godavari, they still self proclaiming as  Zamindars, Managing the lands and temples. They started claiming founder rights on temples. They misused the Endowment amendment act 33/2007. Without having expert knowledge and not considering facts, history and legality earlier DC of endowment declared outsiders of founders family members (who are hereditary of Zamindars/Rajas during British India time and their legal heirs are not entitled to succeed them) as founders and chairman to the temple and ignored the real founder family members. The decision of DC is draconian, unconstitutional and violating the fundamental rights conferred by constitution of India under Article 25 and 26.

They mismanaged and misappropriated the funds and lands of temple. Even having thousand acres of land and other properties the temple is not deriving any income from the valuable properties. Most of the land is encroached and sold out this alienated land to different people. If he didn't construct the temple, Now Antarvedi is no more significant historical place in india. 

Now we are requesting honorable CM of Andra Pradesh to appoint a fact-finding commitee with Sitting High court judge to investigate and to do the justice to Antharvedi Agnikula kshatriya community people. 

Your esteemed office's positive response to our appeal would not only alleviate the denial and injustice done by Endowment department but also stand as a testament to the government's commitment to the welfare of people and their legal rights. We place our trust in your leadership and compassion, hopeful for a resolution that upholds our rights and dignity.
