Appoint a new Manager for Unity Terrace Property in Fairmont, WV
The Issue
Over the past several years, living at Unity Terrace Apartments in Fairmont, WV, has opened my eyes to many challenges residents face daily. From maintenance issues that linger for weeks and go unsolved or unnoticed, to a management team that seems detached from the everyday concerns of its tenants. As a longtime resident, I’ve experienced these problems firsthand and understand the necessity for change and improvement in management. I believe that my rights as a tenant have been frequently overlooked and, consequently, I am motivated to advocate for better living conditions for all residents choosing to call Unity Terrace home. It is through these personal experiences that I’ve developed a keen understanding of what this complex truly needs: empathetic leadership that not only recognizes but actively addresses tenant concerns. As someone deeply familiar with both the strengths and challenges of Unity Terrace because I was basically raised up at the apartments, I am driven to step into a leadership role to make vital changes. My firsthand experience living here gives me the insight and empathy needed to address the pressing issues—ensuring maintenance requests are fulfilled promptly, clear communication from management, and an all-around enhanced quality of life for everyone.I am calling upon the responsible parties and tenants to consider my proposition to become manager of Unity Terrace. This is not a pursuit of personal gain but rather a genuine commitment to providing the care and dedication the residents of Unity Terrace deserve. Together, we can create a more responsive, respectful, and safe community. Thought out the years living at the Unity Terrace, my family and I have been consistently harassed by police, residents, and management. Join me in requesting a change at the leadership intelligence of Unity Terrace Apartments. Sign this petition to support the need for a Manager who will prioritize and advocate for tenants’ rights and interests. Let’s build a community we can all be proud of.
