Tell Apple: "Block Google Chrome for not blocking Parler"

Tell Apple: "Block Google Chrome for not blocking Parler"
The Issue
Dear Tim Cook,
Parler allowed domestic terrorists to use its app to plan seditious insurrection against American democracy.
Then, in a courageous stand for democratic ideals, Apple censored Parler from its App Store.
But Google has still not blocked Parler from google.com or its Chrome browser.
This cowardly, anti-democratic failure to censor has created a haven where violent white supremacist terrorists operate with impunity.
If Apple, its brand, and its employees are serious about defending our democracy from authoritarianism, it must do the right thing and block Google.
Thankfully for our free society, the phones of over 100 million Americans are under Apple's total control, so if Apple takes the following steps, democracy will be saved:
- Block Google from the app store.
- Block Google Chrome from the app store.
- Block google.com in iOS and macOS Safari.
If these steps fail to end seditious activities, you must take ever more courageous steps, such as revoking the signing keys of Google and the nonprofit Mozilla, creators of Firefox.
This will ensure that no one can access Parler.com—or any website considered objectionable in major Apple markets like the US, EU, and China—on the Macs of the future.
Terrorist sympathizers like Parler might argue that this violates the principles of freedom of expression in the U.S. Constitution, or in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
As you surely already know, this is incorrect. Freedom of speech only applies to governments, not to monopolies like Apple.
Google paid lip service to democratic ideals by banning Parler from the Play Store, but until Google blocks Parler from all their platforms, we'll know whose side they're really on.
Apple, now that Google has shown itself as evil, we're depending on you to do the right thing. Block them. They deserve it.
So do we.
