“We’re heading toward the finish line!!!! Our voices are being heard by Apple!! So excited to be able to report that we are making a difference!!! Apple Accessibility team is listening! I recently spoke with my point person at Apple Accessibility, Wyatt, and he confirmed that the release of iOS 9 in September will bring back the full function of the Aida app and other voice prompting apps! This change will enable individuals with cognitive and memory problems, like Kara, to live a richer and more independent life. Now, when Apple states, “We have done everything possible to make anything possible,” we can say, “Yes they have, and we all helped Apple to understand the possibilities for those with cognitive challenges who needed this important feature restored!” Kara and I are humbled by your support and encouragement.
