UPDATE - Monday, June 22, 2020: At Apple's WWDC conference today, they announced iOS 14, and it has been revealed that we will FINALLY be able to choose a default web browser and mail app for all of our iOS devices! Check out Apple's website and news sites for more information.

Note: This petition will remain available until iOS 14 comes out; once that happens, I will declare victory for this petition!

As many of us know, choosing a default browser on computers is a feature we have been able to use for quite a long time, yet there are some operating systems, iOS to be exact, that doesn't allow or have the ability to choose a default browser to use on a daily basis. As iOS users, we should have the freedom to customize our devices, we should be given the feature to choose a default web browser, whether its Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera, UC Browser, etc. Believe it or not, Android has the ability to do this, so why not on iOS?! There are many users from Apple's forums and other iOS related forums and sites who would appreciate the ability to choose a default web browser on their iOS devices. Please visit Apple's product feedback site and find the section for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch and tell them you want to be able to choose a default browser on your iOS devices. This feature should be introduced to iOS devices at some point in iOS 13, or in iOS 14, so the sooner the better. Support this petition to convince Apple to allow us to choose a default web browser on our iOS devices.
