New 2018 MacBook Pro/Air Keyboards Still Failing

Dec 28, 2018 —

As expected, Apple's third-generation butterfly keyboards found in the latest MacBook Pro and MacBook Air machines are failing in similar ways as generations one and two.

Apple, what on Earth are you doing? It's time to put an end to this fatally flawed keyboard design, once and for all, and return to the far more reliable scissor switch mechanism found in the 2015 MacBook Pros, or even better, the ultra-reliable and pleasing-to-type-on Magic Keyboard 2.
