Appeal for Peace in Cambodia
The Issue
Cambodia deserves peace, dignity, and a future shaped by its own people.
More than 30 years after the Paris Peace Accords of 1991, many Cambodians still feel that the promises of sovereignty, democracy, and human rights remain incomplete.
This petition is the beginning of a united voice.
We are not yet petitioning governments or international organizations.
We are building a collective voice—together.
This initiative brings together:
Khmer people in Cambodia and across the diaspora
Advocates for peace, justice, and sovereignty
Cambodia has endured a long and painful history—war, genocide, foreign intervention, and ongoing political challenges.
The Paris Peace Accords were meant to guarantee:
Sovereignty
Territorial integrity
Neutrality
Democracy
Respect for human rights
For many, these promises remain unfinished.
Today, concerns continue to be raised about governance, human rights, land issues, and national sovereignty. Development and cooperation frameworks such as the CLV-DTA and VCL-TTC are also viewed by many as raising important questions about alignment with Cambodia’s Constitution and the principles of the Paris Peace Accords.
These are complex issues—but one thing is clear:
The voice of the Cambodian people must be heard.
Khmer People’s Voice for Peace and Sovereignty
One People. One Voice. One Future.
Every signature represents:
A shared concern
A collective memory
A commitment to peace and dignity
When a meaningful number of signatures is reached, this collective voice may be respectfully shared with national leaders and the international community.
But first—we must stand together.
