Thanks to your support and taking action, the appeal for an end to repression in Cuba and the release of all Cuban political prisoners has amassed over 100 petitioners.

We have already been contacted by a representative of a European government and a representative of the European Commission, who, recognizing our requests, outlined the EU's position and asked how many have signed the petition.

We were able to tell them a hundred over the past three days.

The situation in Cuba remains dire and is worsening on the human rights front, with predetermined political "trials" during Christmas meting out up to 30-year prison sentences for peacefully protesting this past summer.
