Walk around with Councillors and MLAs

Two residents along with myself walked the estate with Councillor Paul Hamill, Councillor Billy Webb and MLA Paula Bradley. We highlighted what the residents have mentioned about the state of disrepair in our estate. A lot of the problems are NIHE related. I have therefore added the NIHE to the petition. Every time someone signs our petition they are sent an email. Keep spreading the word and ask your friends to sign to keep the interest up. They had mentioned that we as an estate are too polite, low maintenance and don't ask for anything... well that's going to change. We are going to set up a Rushpark residents committee so if anyone is interested in being a part of that committee please contact me. They were very keen to provide advice and support. We were very pleased with how the meeting went and would like to thank everyone who took the time to meet tonight. We will continue to work with the council and MLAs in perusing our issues with the NIHE. Thanks again for everyones support.
