Free Antonio Wallace

Free Antonio Wallace
The Issue
In April of 2013, Antonio Wallace was convicted of armed robbery, kidnapping, and conspiracy to commit armed robbery. At the time, Mr. Wallace was a well-known business owner in Jackson, Mississippi. Furthermore, he is a dedicated father and was attending Jackson State University majoring in Business Administration.
During the trial, testimonies were given by the victim, Antonio’s co-defendants, and by different law officials. The law officials who testified had stated verbally for the record that Antonio did not rob or kidnap the victim. They further gave record statements that Antonio was nowhere in the vicinity when the actual crime occurred. Notably, records show that detective Adrian Ready from the Ridgeland Police Department gave a sworn statement that defendant Antonio Wallace was in fact in South Jackson, Mississippi at the time of the robbery and kidnapping.
Antonio Wallace was in South Jackson, Mississippi to pick up his one-year-old daughter, Alayna Wallace from her grandmother. If detective Adrian Ready, who has 10+ years of experience, would have pulled the text messages (as attached to this petition) of Kenisa’s mother it would have shown that Kenisa’s mother texting and saying, “I’m about to leave the house to meet Tony”. As you can see, there was no physical evidence that placed Antonio Wallace at the scene.
Kenisa Rush, who is also the mother of Antonio’s child, testified that he had something to do with the crime and she indicated Antonio was at the scene when the crime happened. However, that statement greatly conflicts with the testimonies of the others. In fact, Kenisa also could not place Antonio Wallace at the scene during the time of the incidents. Kenisa Rush, who did participate in the robbery, was allowed to tell story after story during the trial after being caught in an array of lies.
During the trial, the victim was asked, “Did Antonio Wallace rob you”? The victim stated, “No sir”. This is evidence that is demonstrated in a video that is available for viewing. The victim was also asked during the trial “Did Antonio Wallace kidnap you”? Again, the victim stated, “No sir”. Even the victim of the crime is not placing Antonio Wallace at the scene.
Due to the evidence highlighted here in this petition, Antonio Wallace should not be serving time for this crime. It is our belief that, if enough of us speak up by providing signatures as well as sharing this story on social media, we can bring Antonio Wallace home.
