It is ridiculous, that with a $700+ billion military budget, we still have troops that have to supplement their incomes with food stamps. Where is all that $700 + billion going? I have a feeling much is spent on pork barrel project and/or is wasted. Audit the military budget and make deep cuts to waste and inefficiency. The savings can be used to increase troop pay to where they don;t need food stamps, which will save even more money. This will also help morale and troop retention. Our deficits would be lower too. Do the right thing, Congress. Audit the military budget.
