Domestic Violence is a prevalent issue in our society. There is rise of incidents and the loss of safety for all victims. 

ADVOS are put in place to help a current victim. However this is not protecting the next victim as it is unavailable to the public. 

There needs to be a data base or register or a way that enables access to the public to look up a partner or even a date for prior convictions/ ADVOs apprehended domestic violence orders.

This change needs to happen! To protect and prevent women and men from the perpetrators. 

After my own personal experience, the court and judicial system takes months, resulting in a rise of incidents. 

If anyone could have had the chance to look this up it could have saved their life and protected and prevented yet another domestic violence death. 

This can be a step in the right direction to help protect and prevent the next victim from domestic violence. 

Sign the petition to enable this ability to look up previous offenders PRIORS AND ADVOS. This previously existed but for some reason they have taken this opportunity away.
