Hi Folks. At this point, you may have already ran into the "DAVYJ is the devil's spawn" campaign, maybe on Next Door or Facebook. I don't want to carry on for too long, but here's the short version of it: This is a smear campaign, using distorted graphs and interpretations of data, which is fueled by one thing: The desire to move everything to Mountain View. Consider: These anti-DAVYJ claims are coming from Palo Alto and Los Altos Hills, which are hardly affected by whether the decision is DAVYJ, SERFR, or 50:50... So why their love affair with SERFR, and the hate for DAVYJ? Simple Politics These activists realize that they're very unlikely to get "move to Mountain View" to succeed in this round. But DAVYJ sets a bad precedent for them, since it is an unequivocal voice for "don't move noise". Additionally, DAVYJ is actually a good solution, and they fear that a good solution will shut off their fuel for "move to Mountain View".
