We have been informed that Mr. Dam Vinh Hung - a singer from Communist Vietnam - will perform on the stage at Hollywood Casino, Charles Town, West Virginia.
Mr. Dam Vinh Hung is not simply a singer. He is member of Vietnamese Communist Youth Group, the right hand and future leader of Vietnamese Communist Party. His appearance in major cities in the U.S. has sparked strong protest by Vietnamese American Communities in recent years.
After the Vietnam War ended in 1975, millions of Vietnameses have risked their life to flee their homeland to escape from the Communist dictatorship. In more than half century, the Vietnamese Communist government has violated human rights, jailed hundreds of thousands of people without trial, and committed to corruption. They also carry out the Resolution 36 in order to stir unrest to take control of the Vietnamese Community overseas. We believe the appearance of Mr. Dam Vinh Hung is an important part of the Vietnamese Communist propaganda.
For that reason, we strongly oppose the appearance of Mr Dam Vinh Hung in any shows in the United States.
Having him perform on the stage is to insult the Vietnamese Community.
We friendly request the organizers not to let him perform in the show. The Vietnamese Americans will very much appreciate your wise decision.
