I’ll get straight to the point because I know your time is valuable today: I need you to know what has happened to Teddy.
Teddy is a gentle dog in the Philippines who was reportedly targeted by four men attempting to steal him for his meat.
A member of the public saw what was happening and bravely intervened to stop them from taking him.
But before Teddy could escape, one of the men allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed him across the face.
Friend, Teddy screamed in pain...
The witness immediately called AWIP, and our team rushed to the scene to rescue Teddy and get him the emergency veterinary treatment he desperately needed.
Friend, I have just received this photo of Teddy from the veterinary clinic.
The veterinarians treating him say that he is still crying in pain as they care for the deep wound across his face.
Even though Teddy is now safe inside the clinic, he is still suffering because of what these men allegedly did to him.
Please imagine how terrified he must have been...
Four men surrounding him. Trying to steal him. A knife being pulled. The sudden agony as the blade cut across his face.
And now, even in intensive care, Teddy is still crying in pain while veterinarians work to treat his injury.
Had that brave member of the public not intervened, Teddy might have been stolen and killed for his meat.
Teddy survived, but the men responsible for this horrific attack must not be allowed to simply walk away.
They should face the maximum jail sentence available under Philippine law.
Because anyone who attempts to steal a dog for his meat and then slashes his face with a knife must face serious consequences.
