Friend,
I have just received urgent intelligence from contacts on the ground in Ilocos Norte, Philippines.
A dog meat slaughterhouse is operating at the roadside. It is not hidden away. It is not concealed behind walls. Dogs are being killed in full view of passing traffic.
Friend, the information I have been sent is deeply distressing. Dogs are being held in makeshift cages, crammed together in the heat, shaking and panting as they watch others dragged away to be slaughtered. They can see and hear everything. They smell the blood. They hear the screams.
I have been told that dogs are beaten to weaken them before they are killed. Some are bound and thrown to the ground. Others are burned over open flames or doused with boiling water while still conscious in order to prepare their bodies for sale. When a blowtorch is pressed against a dog’s skin, the animal does not die instantly. They thrash. They cry out. They try desperately to escape the fire as their fur burns and their skin blisters.
In situations like this, investigators often find collars still attached to the bodies of the dogs. That means some of them may have been stolen family pets. Animals who were loved, protected, and trusted humans before being taken and sold into this trade.
Right now, there are surviving dogs still at this site.
Friend, will you sign the petition right now to demand the immediate closure of this dog slaughterhouse?
They are alive. They are waiting. And unless something changes, they will face the same violent end.
I am working to escalate this intelligence and push for immediate enforcement action. But public pressure is critical. When authorities know the world is watching, they are far more likely to act quickly.
